Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service 2020 – Transpennine Express
 
Referring to my previous correspondence dated 27th August 2020, I write to inform you that despite your union’s best efforts to secure you a pay increase and improvements to your terms and conditions, the company is refusing to budge from their position of a pay freeze. 
 
Your National Executive Committee (NEC) has considered the matter and it has declared that a dispute now exists and you and your colleagues will be balloted for industrial action. 
 
It is absolutely vital that we have your correct job title 
and workplace location on our records
 
Due to the current circumstances of the global pandemic, it is not possible for your union to send out postal letters at this time. In order to keep in contact to update you on all developments in this matter, we are sending out electronic communications via text messages and emails. Therefore I would be most grateful if you could ensure that we have an up to date mobile phone number and email address for you. If you know of any of your colleagues who may have not given us electronic contact details, please ask them to do so. 
 
Any changes to your details may be done via the website's e-services accessible from www.rmt.org.uk or by calling the Helpline on 0800 376 3706 or by e-mailing info@rmt.org.uk Or you can speak to your local RMT rep or RMT Regional Office on 0151 236 3912
 
Once the record checks have been completed, ballot papers will be posted to your home address.
