RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2020 – ATALIAN SERVEST (SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY CONTRACT)  
 
In line with union policy, a pay claim for a substantial increase in pay and improved terms and conditions has been submitted. The Regional Organiser has met with the company and the following offer has been tabled:-
 
·         A new basic hourly rate for all operatives who work at outer London locations to be set at the Real Living Wage (RWL) of £9.30. 
·         A new basic hourly rate for all operatives who work at London locations to be set at the London Living Wage (LLW) of £10.75. 
·         An additional 15p per hour will be applied to night time workers at all locations. (see note II) 
·         A 2% pay rise to be applied to the existing basic hourly rates for the following groups of employees: - a. Ex BR employees subject to historic BR terms and conditions 
·         Any employees that fall outside of the scope of any of the above will have a minimum 2% uplift applied to their current basic hourly rate

Notes on Pay Award 
 
·         London locations are aligned with the geographical locations as defined by the Living wage Foundation as being within the “London Living Wage”. 
·         The 15p increment is the same for all workers and Supervisors, regardless of location and/or basic hourly rate 
·         In the event that anomalies are found to exist amongst employees e.g. whose current rate of pay already eclipses the new rates, a minimum of 2% will be guaranteed to their current basic rate of pay. 
 
Other Terms and Conditions 
 
·         The company is unable to make any firm proposals on any other demands. 
·         All other terms and conditions will remain unchanged. 
·         Pension contributions increases are from 1st April 2020 onwards and are not back payable on years of service. 
 
Your National Executive Committee has considered the offer and it has instructed me to inform the company of our acceptance. This instruction has been carried out and I have requested that the increase and back monies are paid at the earliest opportunity.
