Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service 2020 – Pullman Rail

 

In line with Union Policy, a pay claim for an increase in pay and improvements to terms and conditions has been submitted. Your negotiating team have met with the company and the following offer has been tabled:-

 

YEAR ONE

  •From 6 April 2020: 2.75% increase on all base wages

  •Life Assurance: The amount of Life Assurance will be equal to 1.5 times your basic annual salary (excluding any allowances) and based on the terms and conditions of the policy. The cost will be borne by the Company. The effective start date will be the date that this pay offer is formally accepted by the RMT.

 

YEAR TWO

  •From 6th April 2021: February 2021 RPI + 0.5% increase on all base wages, subject to a minimum of 2.5% to a maximum of 3.25%

  •Life assurance to continue

 

After long and careful consideration, the union’s National Executive Committee (NEC) has instructed me to hold a referendum so you and your colleagues so that you can have your say on this offer. In order to get a quick turnaround and bearing in mind the current coronavirus situation, we are running this referendum electronically.

 

Having considered the views of your negotiating team the NEC is recommending that you vote ‘YES’ to accept the offer as we believe this is the best offer that can be achieved through negotiation in this current economic climate. The on-line referendum will close at 10:00 hours on Wednesday 26th August 2020.

 

Referendum Instructions

 

You will shortly receive an email from a company called “Election Runner” which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 10:00 hours on Wednesday 26th August 2020 when voting closes.

 

Note - Your Voter ID will be your RMT Membership number and your Voter Key is provided in the email from Election Runner.
