Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2023 – Bidvest Noonan (TransPennine Express Contract)
The referendum has now concluded and the result is as follows:

Voting ‘No’ 6
Noting the result, the National Executive Committee has instructed me to inform the company of our acceptance of the offer. This instruction has been carried out and I have requested that the increase and any back monies are paid at the earliest opportunity. For ease of reference, the accepted pay offer is as follows:
- 1st April 2023 to 31st October 2023: £11.32 per hour to be backdated to the 1st April 2023
- 1st November 2023: £12.00 per hour. Implementing the Living Wage Foundation from 1st November 2023.
In addition, the following items also apply:
- Duty and Leisure passes will be issued after the 12-week probationary period as opposed to 12 months.
- Bidvest Noonan employees will have access to rover e-tickets permitting unlimited one day unaccompanied Standard Class travel across the TPE network for purchase by frontline supplier colleagues for themselves, their dependents, and non-dependents. This equates to 50 tickets per year which could present savings of up to £1000 against full fare travel.
- The company will continue with meaningful 3 way (TPE/BN/RMT) talks with a view to developing a roadmap to £15 per hour.
