RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2023 – HITACHI RAIL (LNER EAST COAST & LONDON NORTH POLE DEPOT)

 

Further to my previous correspondence, the referendum on the company’s pay offer has concluded and the result is as follows:

 

Do you accept the company’s offer?

 

Total votes cast                      462

Number voting YES                 130

Number voting NO                  332

 

Your union’s National Executive Committee has considered this result and noted that you and your colleagues have voted to reject the company’s offer.

 

Noting the result, the union's National Executive Committee (NEC) has instructed me to inform the company of our rejection.

 

I can advise you that a meeting will take place later today (Wednesday 14^th February) with your representatives, lead officers and NEC members to discuss the next steps in this dispute, and this will then be considered formally by the NEC.

 

I will of course keep you advised of all further developments.
