VOTE 'YES' TO BOTH QUESTIONS AND RETURN YOUR BALLOT

 

Dear RMT Member,

 

RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2023 – HITACHI RAIL (LONDON NORTH POLE DEPOT)

 

By now you should have received your ballot paper from our independent scrutineer which was posted to your home address last week. The closing date for the ballot is Tuesday 6^th February 2024, so if you haven't done so already, now is the time to vote. 

 

Due to balloting laws, I cannot stress enough how important it is that you fill in your ballot paper and return it as soon as possible in the freepost envelope provided so that we can meet the thresholds demanded by the current strict anti-trade union legislation. 

 

I urge you to vote ‘YES’ for strike action and ‘YES’ for action short of a strike in a significant majority to show your employer that you are willing to fight for a pay deal which will compensate you fairly for your hard work. 

 

If you have not yet returned your voting paper, then please do so. If you have not yet received your voting paper, then please contact the RMT freephone helpline immediately on 0800 376 3706 or email info@rmt.org.uk to receive a replacement ballot paper.

 

Important to note: The Scrutineer for RMT Ballots and Elections is “CES” (Civica Election Services). Letters from CES will also have the RMT logo - they are not Junk Mail and should be opened.
