Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2023 – Rail Gourmet (Eurostar Contract)

 

Firstly, I would like to congratulate you for returning a magnificent result in the ballot. You have given your union a mandate to push forward in this dispute. 

 

Noting the ballot result, your union’s National Executive Committee has considered the matter once more and it is calling on all Rail Gourmet members on the Eurostar contract to take the following strike action:

 

Members are instructed not to book on for any shifts that commence between:

 

• 06:00 hours on Friday 19^th April 2024 and 05:59 hours on Tuesday 23^rd April 2024.

 

Let’s hope that this action will focus management’s minds and get them round the table to resolve this matter. You should be rewarded with a fair pay increase and genuine improvements to your terms and conditions. Management probably believe that you are not prepared to fight for pay justice, it is time to prove them wrong.
