Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2023 – Rail Gourmet (Eurostar Contract)

 

A further meeting took place with Rail Gourmet yesterday and the Company proposed the following offer:

 

• A 3.8% pay increase for all staff currently on the £13.15 hourly rate, with a new hourly rate of £13.65, backdated to 1^st June 2024.

 

The National Executive Committee has considered this matter again today and has noted that the company has refused to provide pay rates and job grades of members who are excluded from the pay offer but who are within the collective bargaining unit. Accordingly, the NEC has taken the decision to inform the Company of our rejection of this offer and that the strike action remains on. Members are instructed not to book on for any shifts that commence between:

 

•  06:00 hours on Wednesday 24^th July 2024 and 05:59 hours on Saturday 3^rd August 2024 

 

I have no doubt that our members will support the above strike action and show Rail Gourmet and Eurostar that we are determined to continue our fight for pay justice.
