Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2023 – Rail Gourmet (Eurostar Contract)

 

STRIKE ACTION IS CANCELLED

 

Further talks have taken place with the Company this morning and the revised offer which has now been received will result in the new hourly pay rate from 1^st August 2024 as follows:

 

SCSA £14.15

CSTL £15.00

SCSTL £16.40

 

This latest offer represents a significant improvement. The £1 increase on the base rate covers all staff on the Living Wage and the additional uplift ensures existing staff above the Living Wage maintain their differential. 

 

The Company has agreed to meaningful discussions when the Real Living Wage annual pay review is announced in October/November for all hourly paid members. The Company has also agreed to talks regarding harmonisation and a recognition agreement.

 

This matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee, which has taken the decision to advise the Company of our acceptance of the offer. I have advised the Company of our acceptance and also that the strike action due to commence from 06:00 hours on Wednesday 24^th July to 05:59 hours on Saturday 3^rd August 2024 is cancelled. All members are instructed to book on for shifts and work as normal.

 

The determination and unity of you and your colleagues and Reps has been instrumental in securing this favourable outcome. This success is a testament to the power of RMT members when they stand united.
