RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2023 – STAGECOACH SOUTH WINCHESTER (ENGINEERING)
A fresh round of negotiations has been held following your union’s rejection of the previous offer tabled by management, at the conclusion of which the company has tabled a revised offer of a 10% increase. The offer is in terms of 3 pay increases and will apply to all grades. The offer was as follows:
- A 4% increase from 1st September 2023
- A 3% increase from 12th November 2023
- A 3% increase from 10th December 2023
- The pay gap between the rates of pay for Cleaners and Shunters will be reintroduced
- The rate of pay for the Vehicle Preparation Team has also been enhanced to reflect the going rate
- Backpay will apply from the anniversary date of 1st September 2023 and the next pay review will be due on 1st September 2024
Following consultation with your representative, your Regional Organiser reported that you and your colleagues would be in favour of the proposals, and this view has been endorsed by your union’s National Executive Committee.
Stagecoach South Winchester has therefore been advised of this decision and the pay increase will hopefully be applied as early as possible.
