RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2023-2024 – BALFOUR BEATTY RAIL PLANT

 

Further to my most recent correspondence I am writing to provide an update on the latest developments in relation to the above-mentioned matter.

 

At an avoidance of disputes meeting held with the company on 8^th February 2024 the company its ‘best and final offer’ for consideration which is as follows:

 

• 6% increase on basic rates applicable from 1^st January 2023
• 4% increase on basic rates applicable from 1^st January 2024

 

Over the coming days your RMT representatives will be consulting with members to seek their views on the offer, and I would encourage you to speak with your relevant representative to express your views.

 

Once completed this revised offer will then be referred to the RMT National Executive Committee for further consideration and I will of course keep you informed of any further developments in this regard.
