RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2023 - BALFOUR BEATTY (CENTRAL RAIL SYSTEMS ALLIANCE)

 

I am writing to provide you with an update concerning the latest developments in relation to this year’s pay talks.

 

Following submission of the RMT pay claim, an initial meeting was held with Balfour Beatty earlier today where the following offer was tabled by the company for consideration:

 

• 3% increase applicable from 1^st April 2024.

 

The company additionally agreed to consider its position on both a potential no compulsory redundancy agreement and the extension of the existing collective bargaining agreement.

 

A further meeting will now be held on 2^nd May 2024, and I will of course keep you informed of any developments in this regard.
