Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2023 – Carlisle Support Services (Northern Trains Revenue and Gateline Contract)

 

First of all, I would like to congratulate all members for voting ‘YES’ in the re-ballot. You have given your union a mandate to push forward in this dispute. 

 

I can report that Carlisle Support Services have once again failed to provide any meaningful proposals for this union to consider. The National Executive Committee has considered this matter further and has placed on record their commendations of RMT members and the fortitude members have shown in their fight for pay justice. 

 

Having discussed this matter with your Representatives, your union’s National Executive Committee is calling on all affected members to take the following industrial action:

 

From 00:01 hours on Wednesday 24^th July 2024 until further notice members are instructed:

 

• NOT to electrically recharge work equipment (such as body cameras, work phones, printers and scanners) at home.
• NOT to engage and assist with any training of new employees into the business.
• NOT to electronically scan tickets
