Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service 2023 – Carlisle Support Services (Northern Trains Revenue and Gateline Contract)

 

ALL INDUSTRIAL ACTION & LUTON DEMO TOMORROW ARE SUSPENDED

 

In an effort to make progress in this dispute, I wrote to Carlisle Support Services Chief Executive Officer yesterday requesting discussions over the following issues:

 

1. Pay rates
2. Timegate App
3. Zero hours contracts and hours of work arrangements
4. Collective bargaining

 

The Company has agreed to a meeting this Thursday 18^th July, which I will be attending along with your RMT Regional Organiser Steve Shaw. The RMT National Executive Committee has considered this development today and noted that discussions are ongoing. The NEC has therefore taken the decision to suspend all planned industrial action commencing from Wednesday 24^th July for members not to electrically recharge work equipment at home, not to engage and assist with any training of new employees into the business and not to electronically scan tickets. You are therefore instructed to conduct all your duties and work as normal.
