Dear RMT Member, 

 

RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2023 – CARLISLE SUPPORT SERVICES (NORTHERN TRAINS REVENUE AND GATELINE CONTRACT)

 

I am writing to advise that meaningful and productive discussions have taken place on Thursday 18th July with your employer Carlisle Support Services in our long running dispute over current rates of pay, conditions and trade union recognition through collective bargaining. 

 

These discussions are ongoing whilst all industrial action remains suspended and we aim to meet with your employer again shortly to mutually work towards an agreed settlement to the current industrial trades dispute between our two organisations. 

 

I would like to thank all Carlisle Support Services members on the Northern Trains Gate-line contract for your continued support and patience whilst allowing for further discussions to take place. All further developments during ongoing negotiations will be reported back as discussions progress.
