RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2023 – HITACHI RAIL LTD (LNER EAST COAST)

ADDITIONAL STRIKE ACTION CALLED

 

Your Lead Officer has reported that your representatives wish to escalate the industrial action you are already taking, as Hitachi have still failed to table an offer that meets yours and your colleagues reasonable aspirations.

 

Therefore, the National Executive Committee is calling on all affected members on the LNER contract to take the following strike action:

 

Members are instructed not to book on for any shifts that commence between:

 

• 00:01 hours until 23:59 on Saturday 10^th February 2024
• 00:01 hours until 23:59 hours on Monday 12^th February 2024
• 00:01 hours until 23:59 hours on Thursday 15^th February 2024
• 00:01 hours until 23:59 hours on Saturday 17^th February 2024
• 00:01 hours until 23:59 hours on Sunday 18^th February 2024
• 00:01 hours until 23:59 hours on Tuesday 20^th February 2024
• 00:01 hours until 23:59 hours on Wednesday 21^st February 2024
• 00:01 hours until 23:59 hours on Saturday 24^th February 2024

 

This is in addition to the action short of a strike that is already in place, and the strike action beginning tomorrow, Saturday 27^th January 2024.

 

I urge you to continue to stand firm together and support the industrial action until this matter is resolved. I will keep you advised of all further developments.
