Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2023 – Pacific Nuclear Transport Ltd 

 

Referring to previous correspondence, pay talks have been re-convened and the following revised offer has been tabled:

 

For 2023/24: 

 

  • An increase of 5.5% on basic pay, back dated to 1st April 2023 plus a one-off, non-consolidated and non-pensionable payment of £1,500 for each Officer/Rating in employment by PNTL at the time of payment 

 

For 2024/25: 

 

  • An increase of 5% on basic pay, taking effect on 1st April 2024 
  • Ratings grades 0-3 would be removed and all in scope ratings would be moved to grade 4 (also taking effect 1st April 2024) 
  • Grade 16 would be added across all Rating and Officer grades (also taking effect 1st April 2024 

 

Your union’s National Executive Committee has noted a report received from your Lead Officer and taken the decision to conduct an electronic referendum of affected members.  

 

Additionally, the National Executive Committee is strongly recommending that you vote ‘YES’ to accept these proposals. It is the belief of your National Executive Committee these proposals represent the best achievable through negotiation. The online referendum will close at 11am on Tuesday 16thApril 2024. 

 

Referendum Instructions

 

Members will shortly receive an email from 'RMT Referenda' which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 11:00 hours on Tuesday 16th April 2024.
