Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2023 – Rail Gourmet (Eurostar Contract)

 

I have previously advised you that Rail Gourmet is refusing to offer its employees on the Eurostar contract a pay rise. I advised members that the union had entered into dispute with Rail Gourmet. I can now report the necessary preparations for a ballot of you and your colleagues is now complete.      

 

Consequently, on Tuesday 9^th January 2024 the independent scrutineer will send a ballot paper to your home address. I urge you to complete and return your ballot paper in the freepost envelope provided as soon as you receive it. 

 

In the ballot you will be asked to vote for both strike action and industrial action short of a strike – I urge you to vote ‘YES’ to both.
