Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2023 – Royal Fleet Auxiliary

 

Referring to previous correspondence, I am writing to advise you that the strike action planned for Friday 26^th July 2024 has now been suspended.

 

Please work as normal on Friday. 

 

The strike action planned for Thursday 1^st August 2024 is still scheduled to go ahead.  

 

For ease of reference, the strike action on 1^st August 2024 is as follows: 

 

• If your ship is in port DO NOT TURN TO for any duty that commences between 00:01 hours and 23:59 hours on Thursday 1^st August 2024.

 

 

Due to the anti-trade union laws, the current ballot mandate will expire in the autumn. The National Executive Committee has taken the decision to re-ballot all Royal Fleet Auxiliary members to seek a new mandate for industrial action. I will write again very soon with details of the re-ballot.
