Dear Colleagues
Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2023 – Royal Fleet Auxiliary
The re-ballot of RFA members is well under way and it is vital that we achieve the highest possible turnout so that we can meet the thresholds demanded by the current strict anti-union legislation.
I urge you to vote ‘YES’ for action in overwhelming numbers to show the RFA that you will not be bullied into accepting poverty pay. RFA seafarers do an incredibly important job and deserve to be rewarded with decent pay rises that reflect the cost-of-living crisis that all workers are facing.
If you have not yet returned your voting paper, then please do so as a matter of urgency as the ballot closes on Thursday 10th October 2024. If you have not yet received your voting paper, then please contact the RMT freephone helpline immediately on 0800 376 3706 or email info@rmt.org.uk to receive a replacement ballot paper.
Important to note: The Scrutineer for RMT Ballots and Elections is “CES” (Civica Election Services). Letters from CES will also have the RMT logo - they are not Junk Mail and should be opened.
VOTE “YES” FOR STRIKE ACTION
RETURN YOUR BALLOT PAPER
Yours sincerely
