Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2023 – Royal Fleet Auxiliary
Referring to previous correspondence, I can confirm that the full pay offer from the MoD/RFA can be found HERE.
Consequently, the union’s National Executive Committee has instructed me to hold an e-referendum of you and your colleagues so that you can have your say. Additionally, the National Executive Committee is recommending that you vote ‘NO’ to reject the offer for the following reasons:
- This offer is funded by you and your colleagues forgoing the annual shared bonus and giving up your travel concession vouchers.
- The current pay dispute is regarding the imposed 2023 pay award and this offer does not address this issue.
- The RMT has been promised reviews of the appointment lengths by the RFA in the past and these talks have always proved fruitless; our dispute is about pay and not future promises around additional leave.
The on-line referendum will close at 11:00 hours on Tuesday 5th November 2024.

Members will shortly receive an email from 'RMT Referenda' which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 11am on Tuesday 5th November 2024.
