REMINDER TO VOTE – REFERENDUM CLOSES AT 11:00AM TUESDAY 9^TH APRIL 2024

 

Dear RMT Member,

 

RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – COLAS RAIL

 

Further to my previous correspondence, the e-referendum is open for members to vote until 11:00am on Tuesday 9^thApril 2024, and I urge you to cast your vote to have your say on the offer. As a reminder, the offer is:

 

• A 4.5% increase applicable from 1st April 2024
• Increase in allowances which are percentage based, such as contracts with rostered nights, weekends, on-call etc. As well as the OTM additional weekend payments.
• Increase in Per Diem payments by £5 per shift.

 

The union’s National Executive Committee has considered the view of your Regional Organiser and representatives and recommends that you vote ‘YES’ to accept the offer.

 

You will have received an email from RMT referenda, and it will contain your voting link and instructions on how to cast it. If you have not received this, please check your junk/spam folders before either emailing referenda@rmt.org.uk or ringing the helpline on 0800 376 3706.
