Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – Damory Coaches 

 

The referendum has now concluded and the result is as follows:

 

Total Votes Cast…                     17

Number Voting Yes…                 11

Number Voting No…                  6

 

This matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee, which has taken the decision to inform the Company of our acceptance of the offer. I have asked that the increase is paid at the earliest opportunity and for your ease of reference, the accepted offer is as follows:

 

• For drivers, an increase in the rate of pay from the current £12.25 per hour to £13.00 per hour with the percentage increase flowing through to any other pay rates. There would be no other changes to terms and conditions

 

• For skilled engineers, an increase in the rate from £17.43 per hour to £19.00 per hour with the supervisory position paying £20.00 per hour. There will be no other changes to terms and conditions

 

• A 6.1% increase would be applied to non-skilled engineer roles within the engineering collective bargaining unit

 

• The increase to be applied from the first Sunday following notification of acceptance of these proposals. Change in the anniversary date to the first Sunday in May of each year with the next pay increase following implementation of these proposals due to take effect from Sunday 4^th May 2025, with negotiations to take place prior to the implementation date
