Dear RMT Member, 

 

Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – DHL Welham Green

 

Following members’ overwhelming rejection of the Company’s offer, I advised DHL that a dispute situation existed over this matter and began preparations to commence a ballot of you and your colleagues for industrial action. Your RMT negotiating team then held an avoidance of disputes meeting with the Company and an improved offer was received, as follows:

 

  • A 4.3% increase to basic rates of pay, effective 1st April 2024

 

This is a ‘no strings’ offer, with no other pay elements or terms to be changed. The Company has withdrawn its proposed trial of changes to sickness absence pay.

 

The National Executive Committee has considered a report received from your Lead Officer and has instructed me to conduct an e-referendum of you and your colleagues with a recommendation to vote ‘YES’ to accept the offer

 

The on-line referendum will close on at 10am on Thursday 18th July 2024. 

 

Referendum Instructions

 

Members will shortly receive an email from ‘RMT Referenda’ which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 10:00 hours on Thursday 18th July 2024.
