Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – DHL (Avanti West Coast Contract)
The union’s negotiating team has attended meetings with the company and at the conclusion of these talks the following offer has been tabled:
- A 15-month deal, covering period of 1st January 2024 to 31st March 2025. This is to align the pay deal in line with the customer budget year moving forward to avoid having delays in future negotiations.
- London employees will continue to receive additional London Allowance of £175 per month (£2100 per annum). Part time colleagues will receive a pro-rated amount.
- DHL and Avanti West Coast will commit to making 12 additional colleagues permanent from 1st of June 2024. Further permanent positions are being discussed with Avanti West Coast.
- The next pay review date will be April 2025.

Your union’s National Executive Committee has noted a report received from your Lead Officer and taken the decision to conduct an electronic referendum of affected members.
Additionally, the National Executive Committee is strongly recommending that you vote ‘YES’ to accept these proposals. It is the belief of your National Executive Committee these proposals represent the best achievable through negotiation. The online referendum will close at 10am on Tuesday 7th May 2024.

Members will shortly receive an email from 'RMT Referenda' which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 10:00 hours on Tuesday 7th May 2024.
