RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – FIRST SOUTH WEST 

 

Referring to previous correspondence, the union’s negotiating team has attended meetings with the company and at the conclusion of these talks the following revised offer has been tabled: 

 

Option A

• A 70p increase for all grades, taking drivers pay rate to £13.70, backdated to 1^st April 2024 (anniversary date). This represents a 5.4% increase.

 

Option B

• A 70p increase for all grades, taking drivers pay rate to £13.70, backdated to 1^st April 2024 (anniversary date). This represents a 5.4% increase.
• From the October timetable changes, drivers only headline rate increase to £14.02 (£15.02 overtime) for trading out inefficiencies within the 2013 terms and condition agreement. These being:
• Reducing the sign on/off times for duties if not doing First User check within the rotas of Somerset and Cornwall
• Paying in machine in Taunton High Street to have as a sign off location

 

Your union’s National Executive Committee has instructed me to put this offer to you and your colleagues so you can have your say in a referendum. The on-line referendum will close at 11:00 hours on Thursday 3^rd October 2024.
