Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – Freightliner Ltd

 

Further to previous correspondence on the above matter, I can report that the union’s negotiating team has met with Freightliner Ltd yesterday. After a series of long and protracted negotiations, which lasted almost ten hours, the company tabled an improved pay offer. 

 

Following receipt of the improved offer the union’s negotiation team were in agreement that these proposals represent the best achievable through negotiation.

 

In light of these developments and having discussed this matter with the union's negotiating team, the union's National Executive Committee has agreed to suspend all the planned industrial action. Accordingly, all Freightliner Ltd members should now work as normal on Friday 20^th September and Monday 23^rd September 2024.

 

The union will conduct an electronic referendum so that you can have you say on the improved offer. I will write again in the coming days with full details of the revised offer and information on the e-referendum.
