RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – FREIGHTLINER LTD

 

The closing date for the ballot is Thursday 29^th August, so if you haven’t done so already, now is the time to vote. Due to balloting laws I cannot stress enough how important it is that you fill in your ballot paper and return it as quickly as possible.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON BALLOT THRESHOLDS

 

Since the Trade Union Act 2016 introduced even more restrictive anti-trade union laws, all ballots must meet a threshold where at least 50% of all eligible members must vote and 40% of all those eligible to vote must vote yes.

 

As a result of these draconian restrictions every single vote counts. A simple majority is no longer enough so you cannot rely on other colleagues to get the vote over the line.

 

Therefore, I urge you to complete and return your voting paper as soon as you receive it to demand a revised and much improved pay offer. Please complete your ballot paper and make sure you return it by first post, Thursday 29^th August 2024.
