Dear RMT Member,

 

RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – SWIETELSKY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY

 

In line with Union Policy, a pay claim for an increase in pay and improved terms and conditions has been submitted to the company. Your negotiators have had talks with the company and an improved offer has now been tabled, consisting of:

 

• A 5% increase on basic salary, backdated to 1^st April 2024
• Increase in daily meal allowances to a total of £40, increased from £36

 

The company will also review pension provision over the next 12 months, to improve provision for the 2025 claim.

 

Having carefully considered the offer and the views of your Regional Organiser, the union’s National Executive Committee has instructed me to hold an e-referendum of you and your colleagues with a recommendation to vote ‘YES’ to accept the offer.

 

The referendum will close at 11:00 am on Tuesday 21^st May 2024. 

 

Referendum Instructions

 

Members will shortly receive an email from 'RMT Referenda' which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 11:00 am on Tuesday 21^st May 2024.
