Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – Transport for Wales Group (Catering Grades)

 

Referring to previous correspondence, the union's negotiating team has attended a series of meetings with the company and at the conclusion of these talks the following two-year offer has been received:

 

Year One

 

• 3.5% increase applicable from 1^st April 2024

 

Year Two 

 

• RPI increase (February 2025) applicable from 1st April 2025

 

The company has also agreed to maintain the ‘no compulsory redundancy’ agreement through the life of this pay deal. 

 

Consequently, the union’s National Executive Committee has instructed me to hold an e-referendum of you and your colleagues so that you can have your say. Additionally, the National Executive Committee is recommending that you vote ‘NO’ to reject this offer as the Year One figure falls short of the February 2024 RPI rate, which is the benchmark for negotiations.

 

The on-line referendum will close at 10:00 hours on Thursday 12^th September 2024.

Members will shortly receive an email from 'RMT Referenda' which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 10am on Thursday 12^th September 2024.
