RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – ALSTOM METRO TRAINS

 

Further to my most recent correspondence dated 23^rd April 2024 I am writing to provide you with an update in relation to the above-mentioned matter.

 

At a meeting held with Alstom on 24^th May 2024 the company tabled its ‘best and final offer’ which was as follows:

 

• A 4% increase applicable from 1^st April 2024
• Assistance with travel costs; a further one year with the cost of an annual season ticket to £1612, in line with the agreed pay increase percentage.
• Annual Leave Year; a proposal to change the annual leave year, currently April to March, to January to December. 

 

Over the coming days your RMT Representatives will be consulting with members to seek your views on the offer, and I would recommend that you speak with your representative to express your views.  Following on from this, the offer will be referred to the RMT National Executive Committee for consideration.
