RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – ALSTOM METRO TRAINS

 

REMINDER TO VOTE – REFERENDUM CLOSES AT 10am ON THURSDAY 20^TH JUNE

 

Further to my previous correspondence, the e-referendum is open for members to vote until 10:00 on Thursday 20^thJune 2024, and I urge you to cast your vote to have your say on the offer. As a reminder, the offer is:

 

• A 4% increase to basic rates of pay, backdated to 1st April 2024
• Annual Leave Year changed from April to March, to January to December. Pre-booked holidays will be honoured along with pro-rata calculations during the transition year

• Assistance with travel costs up to £1612 for an annual season ticket, subject to conditions

 

You will have received an email from RMT referenda, and it will contain your voting link and instructions on how to cast it. If you have not received this, please check your junk/spam folders before either emailing referenda@rmt.org.uk or ringing the helpline on 0800 376 3706.

 

The National Executive Committee recommends that you VOTE ‘NO’ to reject the offer. I will keep you advised of all further developments.
