RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – AMEY RAIL

 

REMINDER TO VOTE – REFERENDUM CLOSES AT 11:00am TUESDAY 23RD APRIL

 

Further to my previous correspondence, the e-referendum is open for members to vote until 11:00am on Tuesday 23rd April 2024, and I urge you to cast your vote to have your day on the offer. As a reminder, the offer is:

 

  • A 4.9% pay award with an underpin of £1,650 to be applied to basic salary plus agreed allowances to be backdated to 1st March 2024
  • A 6-month period of no compulsory redundancies, within Rail Operations subject to redeployment options.
  • In addition, the company have confirmed the introduction of a policy working group for 2024, an increase to maternity and adoption leave to 18 weeks full pay, from 12 weeks full pay followed by 6 weeks at half pay, and an increase to paternity leave to 2 weeks full pay from 1 week.

 

Members are advised that a rejection of this offer will lead to a ballot for strike action and action short of a strike.
