RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – BALFOUR BEATTY (INTEGRATED TRACK TEAM CONTRACT)
Further negotiations have been held between your union and the company with regards to this year’s pay rise. At the conclusion of the latest talks, the company tabled the following offer:
- 4% increase applicable from 1st January 2024
Following consultation, your Lead Officer reported that the view is that the offer is likely the best that can be achieved through negotiations, particularly due to the nature of the contract which means that any likely industrial action would be limited. He therefore recommended acceptance of the offer and your union’s National Executive Committee has endorsed that recommendation.
Your NEC has also instructed the Lead Officer to pursue improvements to allowances and enhancements via the usual negotiating channels.
Your company has been advised of our acceptance and I would expect the new pay rates to be implemented as soon as possible.
