STRIKE ACTION SUSPENDED – MEMBERS INSTRUCTED TO WORK NORMALLY
Dear Colleagues
RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – BESPOKE FACILITIES MANAGEMENT (HITACHI RAIL DONCASTER)
An updated report has been received from the Lead Officer detailing an improved offer from the company. Bespoke Facilities Management have offered an additional day of annual leave, with the percentage pay increase offer remaining as it was prior to the ballot.
Delegates at the RMT Union’s Annual General Meeting in Hull have voted to put the improved offer out to vote and for members to have their say in a referendum, with the 4-day industrial action to be suspended.
Therefore, the strike action that was due to take place from 05:59 hours on Friday 28th June 2024 to 23:59 hours on Monday 1st July 2024 has been suspended. Members should work these shifts as normal and book on for shifts as you normally would.
For clarification, the offer that you will be asked to vote on is as follows:
Each employee is given an additional day paid annual leave with immediate effect (to be taken before December 24). This increase would take any full-time employees annual leave provision from 20 to 21 days holiday during 2024 annual leave allowance.
