RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 - COLAS RAIL

 

Further to my correspondence of 22^nd February 2024, I am writing to provide you with an update in relation to the pay talks.

 

At a meeting held with Colas Rail yesterday (20^th March 2024), following discussions the company tabled its “best and final offer” for consideration which was as follows: 

                                                                                            

• 4.5% increase applicable from 1^st April 2024 

• Increase in allowances which are percentage based, such as contracts with rostered nights, weekends, on-call etc, as well as the OTM additional weekend payments
• Increase in Per Diem payments by £5 per shift

 

Over the coming days, your RMT Representatives will be consulting with members to seek your views on the offer, and I would recommend that you speak with your representative to express your views.  Following on from this, the offer will then be referred to the RMT National Executive Committee for consideration.

 

I will of course provide a further update on any developments in relation to this issue.
