RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – COLAS RAIL

 

Further to my most recent correspondence dated 15^th May 2024 I am writing to provide you with an update in relation to the above-mentioned matter.

 

At a further meeting held with Colas Rail on 19^th July 2024 the following improved offer was tabled by the company: 

                                                                                            

• A 4.6% increase in basic salaries with effect from 1^st April 2024. 

 

In respect of the proposed increase in Per Diem payments applicable to our Rail Grinding members. Following representations, the company has agreed to remove this item and deal with it separately under the machinery of negotiation. 

 

Over the coming days your RMT Representatives will be consulting with members to seek their views on the offer, and I would recommend that you speak with your representative to express your views.  Following on from this the offer will again be referred to the RMT National Executive Committee for consideration.

 

I will of course provide a further update on any developments in relation to this issue.
