RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – COLAS RAIL

 

Further to my most recent correspondence I am writing to provide you with an update in relation to the above-mentioned matter.

 

Following rejection of the most recent offer from Colas Rail by RMT members I am now in receipt of a revised offer which is as follows: 

                                                                                            

• 4.5% increase in basic salaries with effect from 1st April 2024. 
• A minimum increase of £1,400 (on full time equivalent salaries). 
• Increase in allowances which are percentage based, such as contracts with rostered nights, weekends, on-call etc. As well as the OTM additional weekend payments. 
• Increase in Per Diem payments by £5 per shift. 

 

Over the company days your RMT Representatives will be consulting with members to seek their views on the offer, and I would recommend that you speak with your representative to express your views.  Following on from this the offer will again be referred to the RMT National Executive Committee for consideration.

 

I will of course provide a further update on any developments in relation to this issue.
