Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – DB Cargo

 

The union’s negotiating team has attended meetings with the company and at the conclusion of these talks the following offer has been tabled: 

 

• A 3.2% increase to basic pay and allowances for eligible employees effective from 1^st July 2024. 

 

This increase is not pensionable for those employees in the Railways Pension Scheme but is pensionable for those in the Defined Contribution pension scheme.

 

Your union’s National Executive Committee has noted a report received from your Regional Organiser and taken the decision to conduct an electronic referendum of affected members.  

 

Additionally, the National Executive Committee is strongly recommending that you vote ‘YES’ to accept these proposals. It is the belief of your National Executive Committee these proposals represent the best achievable through negotiation. The online referendum will close at 11am on Thursday 8^th August 2024. 

 

Referendum Instructions

 

Members will shortly receive an email from 'RMT Referenda' which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 11:00 hours on Thursday 8^th August 2024.

If you do not receive your vote immediately, please check your junk/spam folders before contacting us for a replacement.
