RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – DOPPELMAYR CABLE CAR

 

NEW STRIKE DATES CALLED FOR ALL DOPPELMAYR CABLE CAR MEMBERS

 

You and your colleagues voted unanimously to take industrial action to demand an improved pay offer from the Company and the Union called an overtime and rest day working ban from Thursday 12^th September to Thursday 3^rd October, as well as strike action from Friday 1^st November to Sunday 3^rd November. Now instead of meeting with us for talks to resolve the dispute, the Company has inflamed the situation by cancelling annual leave and withdrawing taxis after late finishes. The National Executive Committee has considered a report from your Lead Officer and is disappointed with the Company’s lack of engagement and its outrageous behaviour in response to our notification of industrial action.

 

The NEC has therefore taken the decision to SUSPEND THE OVERTIME AND REST DAY WORKING BAN from Thursday 12^th September to Thursday 3^rd October and to replace the previous industrial action called with the following dates.

 

All members are instructed NOT TO BOOK ON FOR ANY SHIFTS THAT COMMENCE BETWEEN: 

 

• 05:59 hours on Saturday 28^th September 2024 to 05:58 hours on Sunday 29^th September 2024

 

• 05:59 hours on Saturday 5^th October 2024 to 05:58 hours on Sunday 6^th October 2024

 

• 05:59 hours on Saturday 12^th October 2024 to 05:58 hours on Sunday 13^th October 2024

 

• 05:59 hours on Saturday 19^th October 2024 to 05:58 hours on Sunday 20^th October 2024

 

• 05:59 hours on Saturday 26^th October 2024 to 05:58 hours on Sunday 27^th October 2024
