RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – DOPPELMAYR CABLE CAR

 

Earlier today you received details of a sustained campaign of strike action to send a clear message to DCC that its current pay offer is unacceptable and must be improved to recognize and reward you all for your hard work and commitment to the company. Your strength of feeling over this matter was clear at the meeting last week, where members unanimously agreed that management’s current attitude towards this dispute will not go unanswered.

 

I have now received numerous reports of annual leave requests being cancelled or denied as a result of the strike action which has been called and am quite frankly shocked that management believe this tactic will result in any kind of resolution to this matter. The Company should instead be seeking urgent talks with the Union to work together to table an acceptable offer.

 

I would ask that any member who has annual leave requests cancelled or denied or experiences any other forms of intimidation from DCC reports this matter to your RMT Reps. I will be writing to the Mayor of London in protest about the behaviour of DCC and treatment of its staff as a contractor to Transport for London. In the meantime, be assured that you will all receive full support from RMT by all means at our disposal during this dispute and I urge you all to support the strike action.

 

Do not let management intimidate or bully you into going into work during the strike action.
