RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – DOPPELMAYR CABLE CAR
Your Lead Officer and Reps have met again with DCC and finalised arrangements to implement the pay offer in respect of the above. The required clarifications have been received and the Company has confirmed that the reduction in working hours will be implemented immediately. The pay increase will be backdated to the anniversary date in May and will be applied to overtime payments.
This matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee, which has congratulated all members on their steadfast resolve to achieve an acceptable pay offer. The NEC has taken the decision to advise the Company of our acceptance of the offer and I have asked that it is implemented at the earliest opportunity.
For your ease of reference, the accepted offer is as follows:
- A 3.3% pay increase (CPIH + 0.5%), backdated to 1st May 2024.
- A CPIH + 0.5% increase, effective 1st May 2025 and 1st May 2026
- A 3.5 hour reduction in the working week from 44 hours to 40.5 hours, including paid meal breaks.
- Bank holidays to be paid at double time.
- Paternity leave increased from 2 to 4 weeks on full pay.
- Maternity paid at 90% weekly salary for 6 weeks, then 35% of weekly salary for the remaining 33 weeks.
- Introduction of a premature baby policy resulting in a maximum 7 additional days related to premature birth before 37 weeks.
- An additional 2 weeks increase on the current full sick pay policy. Employees would be eligible for the additional 2 weeks after 2 years of continuous employment.
- A reduction in the time that an Uber can be requested to 00:15, subject to conditions and as currently in place.
