RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – FIRST SOUTH WEST

 

Your RMT Lead Officer and Reps met again with the Company last week in furtherance of our 2024 claim for a substantial increase in rates of pay and improvements to conditions of service. At the meeting, the Company tabled the following one-year offer, effective 7^th April 2024:

 

• A 3% uplift for Engineering & Traffic Grades 
• A 4% uplift for Established Drivers
• A new Rate of £13ph for New Starters

 

Your representatives determined that the above did not meet our aspirations for a fair settlement to this year's pay award. Therefore, the offer was rejected by the Union. The Company has agreed to meet us again on the 10^th May to explore an improved offer and I will of course keep you advised of all further developments.
