Dear Colleagues
Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – Heathrow Express
Referring to previous correspondence, following receipt of a revised pay offer and the recent workplace consultations, it is clear that RMT members believe that the latest offer from Heathrow Express is derisory and it should be rejected. The National Executive Committee has considered this matter and they have instructed me to write to Heathrow Express to advise them of this union’s rejection of their revised pay offer and to advise management that a dispute situation exists between our organisations. This instruction has now been carried out. The National Executive Committee has also instructed me to prepare a ballot matrix of you and your colleagues, with a view of commencing a ballot for industrial action.
Therefore, to ensure a swift ballot and so you have a chance to vote you should advise the union of any changes to your details. If your job title, address, or workplace has recently changed, then please contact the RMT Helpline by Email at info@rmt.org.uk; Alternatively, you can call the RMT Freephone Helpline number on 0800 376 3706. Additionally, if you know a colleague who has recently moved or changed their employment, please ask them to contact the union on one of the above methods.
I trust this keeps you fully advised, and I will write following any further developments.
Yours sincerely
Michael Lynch
General Secretary
