Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – Isles of Scilly Steamship Company 

 

In line with union policy, a pay submission for an increase in pay and improved terms and conditions has been submitted. Your Lead Officer has met with the company and the following offer has been tabled:

 

• Pay increase of 4% effective from 1^st April 2024. 

 

Additionally, there is an increase of Death in Service benefit to 2.5x gross salary from 1^st April 2024 (age limit has been increased on the Death in Service scheme from 65 to 70).

 

Following a workplace consultation, the union’s National Executive Committee has instructed me to inform the company of our acceptance of the offer. This instruction has been carried out and I have requested that the increase is paid at the earliest opportunity.
