Dear Colleagues

Referring to previous correspondence, the referendum has now concluded and I can report that members have voted to accept the company's offer. Noting the result, the National Executive Committee has instructed me to inform the company of our acceptance of the offer. This instruction has been carried out and I have requested that the increase and any back monies are paid at the earliest opportunity. For ease of reference, the accepted pay offer is as follows:

  • Increase the “onboard the crew welfare fund” allowance to £100 per month/ vessel.
  • Enhance crew internet with Starlink, this is now live onboard Raleigh Fisher with excellent feedback from Master and Crew and being further roll out across the fleet.
  • Continue to provide Benzene testing as standard part of external D&A testing.
  • Continue to operate the safety challenge which offers £250 a month to the Seafarer with the best health and safety idea.
  • Continue to operate the performance bonus (vetting bonus) of up to £1500 per vessel for a good performance during a vetting. This money is added to the crew onboard welfare fund.
