RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 – MITIE SECURITY (EUROSTAR CONTRACT)
A series of pay negotiation meetings have taken place between your union and employer, at which we have advanced the demands for an increase in pay and improvements to terms and conditions.
The following revised offer has been received from Mitie:
- A 4% increase for all employees working on the Eurostar contract, which would be backdated to 1st April 2024
- Those working on the Post positions at St Pancras and Temple Mills, will receive an additional 3%, therefore a total of a 7% increase
- 2 free travel tickets in addition to the current 4 tickets provided (6 in total per year)
The proposed pay rates are outlined in the below table:

Having carefully considered the views of your representatives and Lead Officer on this below inflation offer, your National Executive Committee has instructed me to conduct an e-referendum of you and your colleagues with a recommendation that you vote ‘NO’ to REJECT the offer.
Members are advised that a rejection of this offer will lead to a dispute situation with the possibility of a ballot for industrial action.
The referendum will close at 11:00 am on Tuesday 23rd July 2024.

Members will shortly receive an email from 'RMT Referenda' which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 11:00 am on Tuesday 23rdJuly 2024.
