Rates of Pay and Conditions of Service 2024 – MTR Elizabeth Line (Control Room Grades)

 

Referring to previous correspondence, I can report that despite the best efforts of the union’s negotiating team MTR Elizabeth Line has refused to improve its offer for the Control Room Grades.  The barrier to progress in these negotiations is the claim by MTR Elizabeth Line that Transport for London have declined any movement on this issue due to the concession being in its final year and the re-tendering process on-going.

 

Having considered this matter and noting the company’s failure to address the reasonable demand for a reduction in the working week from 36 to 35 hours, the National Executive Committee has instructed me to advise management that this union is now in dispute with MTR Elizabeth Line. This instruction has been carried out. I have advised the company that this union remains available for meaningful talks in order resolve this dispute.
