RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 - MTR ELIZABETH LINE (STATIONS & REVENUE GRADES)

 

Further to my previous correspondence dated 2nd August 2024 I am writing to provide you with an update concerning the pay talks.

 

At a meeting held with the company last Friday (16th August 2024), the company tabled its full and final offer in respect of the outstanding pay claim which is as follows:

 

One Year Pay Award

  • 4.5% increase applicable from 1st April 2024
  • For the lowest paid Customer Experience Assistants across East, West and Central Sections, they will receive an increase of £2,272 (current salary £26,978)*
  • An increase in the Paddington Competency Allowance from £2,000 - £2,500

 

*In lieu of proposed percentage increase

 

The above offer is made by the company on the proviso that it is accepted without the requirement of a referendum ballot.  Should a referendum take place, then the applicable £2,272 payment would reduce to £2,000.

 

Over the coming days, your RMT Representatives will be consulting with members to seek their views on the offer, and I would recommend that you speak with them to express your views.  Following on from, this the offer will be referred to the RMT National Executive Committee for consideration.
