RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2024 - MTR ELIZABETH LINE 

 

Further to my correspondence dated of 4^th April 2024, I am writing to provide you with an update concerning the latest developments in relation to the pay talks

 

A further meeting was held with MTR Elizabeth Line earlier today to discuss the outstanding RMT pay claim which was attended by your RMT Representatives.  At the meeting, your representatives were informed by the company that due to a delay in receiving authority, management were still unable to table an offer for consideration.

 

The continuing delay in making a pay offer is completely unacceptable and will no doubt be frustrating to members considering that the RMT pay claim was submitted months in advance. 

 

An additional meeting has now been convened for 28^th May 2024 and the company was left under no illusions that any further delays would see the issue referred to your union’s National Executive Committee for consideration.

 

I will of course keep you informed of any further developments in this regard.
